Hi - running Windows 7, ESET Smart Security, and Skype no longer connects. It did yesterday (literally) and no known updates have occurred since then. I have no significant port blocking going on, no windows firewall, only ESET firewall... but not blocking skype or any specific ports.

Any ideas?

Also can restart the computer in safe mode with networking and then try to login to skype. If you are able to login in safe mode with networking then it means your security software settings are corrupted or incorrect.

To boot in safe mode with networking -tab the F8 key while the computer is booting up.

Even if you are not logged in you should get these options. If not then reinstall skype.
