I'm having trouble copying music to the iPad ever since I upgraded to 5.0. Out of 6000 or more songs, I'm only seeing 234 songs on the iPad.

I do indeed have it check off to sync ALL music (in iTunes on the MAC)

So I deleted all the music from my iPad, and then I resync to add them back in. Only about 9 songs actually copy during the sync. Here are some screen shots:

Syncing:

Syncing the songs,... so far, so good.

Now, all of a sudden, the syncing just stops.

The fail of a sync can often be caused by a damaged or improperly formatted file.

Try doing a selective Sync and leave out the album or songs where it seems to be failing.

Hi. Is there a way I can rebuild my whole music library in iTunes? Like import from scratch?

You can recreate your library files quite easily. Backup your 2 library files before you start.
