I have a series of .tif files that I am unable to delete, I am unable to take ownership of them get access denied messages.  I tried running icacls at the command line and get access denied messages from there as well.  I am unable to rename, move, copy or open as well.

There is no such check box in the interface, just the current owner "unable to display current owner"

change owner to:
where I select my domain admin account

other users and groups button to browse AD
and a link Learn about object ownership that is MS help
